About Us
The Metro Gallery is a multipurpose performance space, art gallery, and bar in the Station North Arts District in downtown Baltimore. In operation since 2007, the Metro Gallery curates art shows with a focus on emerging artists. The Metro Gallery has also hosted esteemed touring and local musical acts, including Cass McCombs, Sea Wolf, Freelance Whales, Fanfarlo, Owen Pallett (of Final Fantasy), the Dirty Projectors, Beach House, Wye Oak, Dan Deacon, We Are Scientists, Future Islands, Celebration, and many more. The Metro Gallery is also the home of the Videopolis film festival, an annual independent showcase of feature-length and short works and multimedia video installations.
